Purpose of the job

The Area Manager for the North East is responsible for the provision and management of the locum dental nurse service in the North East and surrounding area. They will be accountable for the recruitment and retention of locum nurses, their management and compliance and the effective planning and placement of locum dental nurses in dental care surgeries and practices across the area.

The Area Manager will lead by example, setting high standards to demonstrate a positive work ethic.

The Area Manager will build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, while promoting the services provided by Crowns Recruitment.

The Area manager will comply with and continually monitor, communicate and implement all professional guidelines and their updates across the business as required or directed.

The Area Manager will work closely with the management team and will be dedicated in ensuring the efficient and effective running of the business.

They will proactively respond to changes impacting the business from either internal or external factors to ensure continued growth and the long-term goals of the business can be achieved

Locum Nursing will be required as part of the Area Manager role.

In order to succeed in this role you will need to know what it takes to build networks and maintain relationships with clients and candidates. You will have perserverance to build your area and meet key KPI’s to achieve your 6 monthly performance related bonus. Having experience in management and an understanding of business management would be benefical, including managing your own KPIs and working to targets.
