Specialist Orthodontist required for a stunning, award winning practice in Dorchester. The practice provides a range of specialist dental services and they are now looking to place an Orthodontist to build a patient list and provide their orthodontic service.
Initially, you will start at 1 – 2 days a month with the availability to increase your working days as your list builds. You will be supported by a large team of nurses, hygienists, treatment coordinators, managers and of course the other specialistists in the team.
You will have at least 2 years experience as an orthodontist and are both comfortable and confident in building a patient list, to deliver a high standard of orthodontic care.

The Role
A dedicated dentist who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities:
- Diagnose and provide appropriate orthodontic treatment to patients.
- Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining good oral health.
- Communicate with dental staff in our team regarding patient treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications as necessary.
- Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations.
- Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff.
Will hold:
- BDS, BChD or LDS qualification and specialist orthodontic degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an orthodontist.
- Current GDC registration.
- Valid malpractice liability insurance.
- Up-to-date CPD.
