My client based in West Bromwich is looking for an associate dentist to join her team. You will have a strong passion for delivering high quality dentistry and a genuine investment in the care and wellbeing of your patients. My client is looking for someone who is conscientious and wants to be an integral part of her dental team whilst being invested in the ambitions of the practice. You will be considerate to the needs of dental team and have a strong teamwork ethos to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

You will be treating existing and new NHS patients and private patients. The practice also treats anxious and nervous children. In addition, the practice is an Invisalign provider, therefore we welcome applicants who offer this or are looking to train in this.

My client is looking for someone on a part time basis.

The Role

A dedicated dentist who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals and surgical extractions. Other areas of dentistry welcomed.
  • Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining good oral health.
  • Communicate with dental staff in our team regarding patient treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations.
  • Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff.

Will hold:

  • BDS, BChD or LDS qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dentist.
  • Current GDC registration to practise dentistry.
  • NHS Performer Number.
  • Valid malpractice liability insurance.
  • Up-to-date CPD.
